Note: to date we have had only one registration of interest for the used equipment exchange.
If there are no more significant amount of interest by Thursday Sept 28th, this venture will be cancelled and dropped.
Paddling Equipment Exchange
This is a service being provided as a fund raiser for the Muskoka Paddle Club. All transactions are at the sole discretion of the buyers and sellers. The Muskoka Paddle Club and Great Muskoka Paddling experience only take responsibility as facilitators.
Equipment must be owned by seller and in good usable condition. Only items that have been pre-registered will be accepted.
All items for sale must be delivered to the stage area (behind the main registration area) and checked in by the volunteer staff between 8 am and 10 am on race day. Each item should be clearly labeled with the seller's name and asking price (which should include the transaction fee) as well as any information that will describe the item in more detail. The volunteers will not be experts and can only mention the information you supply.
The sale will run between 9 am and 2 pm on race day only. All items sold or not sold must be picked up by the start of the awards presentation .
Credit cards and debit cards cannot be accepted. Cheques can only be accepted if the seller agrees.
If you have items you prefer to donate, the local Muskoka Paddle Club would be happy to accept equipment but ONLY if the club can use it as part of its programs and has space in its limited storage area.
The Muskoka Paddle Club is especially looking for child and youth size paddles, boats and other equipment.
